Aerochrome

I recently learned about the amazing work of Richard Mosse & in particular his strangely beautiful series of photographs shot in the Democratic Republic of Congo on Kodak Aerochrome film for the NY Times Magazine.

This morning while waiting for client feedback I cycled to south-east Kyoto to visit Komyō-in to see another beautiful garden by Shigemori & was moved to apply the surrealist colours of Aerochrome to the pictures I made.. : )
